I love being able to save my patients’ smiles through endodontics. Each tooth is unique and requires a tailored treatment plan, just like each patient. I relish the challenges that endodontics brings and cherish the relationships I build with each person I meet.

Endodontics allows me to blend my artistic ability with my compassionate nature to ensure my patients feel they receive optimal care. My goal is for patients to leave thinking this was their best dental experience and that "the root canal was not as bad as they thought." Patients have told me I was the person who relieved them of their worst pain, helped them overcome their fears, made them so comfortable they snored through the appointment, and ultimately saved their teeth so they can continue to function and smile. I believe I have changed patients’ perspectives on what a dental appointment should be, and I can’t imagine anything more rewarding than that!

My Philosophy

When I designed my office, my goal was to make patients feel as if they are at a luxury spa. A warm, cozy environment, with top-notch equipment and staff, ensures their experience is five stars. As an endodontist, I ensure each patient feels heard and fully understands their treatment plan. I treat every patient as if they are my closest family member or friend. I wouldn't recommend a treatment unless I truly believed it was the best option for them.

Education

I grew up on a farm in western North Dakota and graduated with a high school class of 20. I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare due to my compassion for helping others, and specifically in dentistry because it allows me to be artistic. I have always been crafty and love working with my hands. Endodontics is also very precise, which suits my perfectionist nature as I strive to make every case perfect.

  • University of North Dakota - Bachelor of Science
  • University of Minnesota - Doctorate of Dental Surgery
  • Marquette University - Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics

I actively pursue continuing education courses and self-educate on the latest techniques and technology. I treat my patients using modern methods and materials, and evidence-based treatment planning, ensuring they receive the highest quality care with the best prognosis.

Outside the Office

My husband and I met in Grand Forks, ND, at UND. We married two weeks after I graduated from dental school. We have a 20-pound, white fluffy, green-eyed cat named Maxwell, who has been with me since high school and has witnessed all my major life events.

We enjoy spending time outdoors, whether boating, fishing, hunting, running, or golfing. When possible, I love visiting my parents and spending time with them at the lake. I'm also a big foodie and love trying new restaurants!
